“I’m Not Dead Yet” is a one-man show about the struggles of a man growing old in a world that prefers youth and worships beauty. As we age, we face the problems of a fixed income, the decline of physical function, struggles with body image, feelings of irrelevancy and failure, and the pain of loss. There will be a particular focus on high functioning autism, bullying, and sexuality. Through a personal monologue and media, we will explore the search for meaning during a time of life when life’s possibilities appear to fade away.
There will also be completely nonsexual nudity, so be forewarned.
More information will be available as it firms up. So far it is likely to be in the month of June during the Hollywood Fringe Festival at a location to be revealed. (Actually, I know where it probably will be but don’t want to jump the gun on anything.)
