There is no requirement that a model must be a buff young person. There is no requirement that art students be college coeds. Artists come in all ages and genders. Young and physically fit bodies are extremely common in modeling agencies. The naturally aged body is the exception. If you would master the art of drawing the human figure, you need to practice drawing all shapes and ages of people.

All bodies are good bodies. To grow old is the final truth of life and the natural changes of aging do not make you ugly any more than the patina of a bronze statue ot the weathering on aged wood. They are proof that you have lived and endured and maybe, just maybe, you have learned a little bit about life.

Let us celebrate the people who have grown old but kept their inner “child” alive in a corner of their hearts!
